Big and tall men wear suits just like other men, so why is it so much harder for them to find suits? The fact of the matter is that big and tall men have just as many options for suit wearing as other men, they just need to do a little more research. Larger men do not have the readily available information that average size men do when it comes to choosing a suit style. Men with larger frames need to take their bodies into account when making their purchases. The three most prominent suit styles are the American, British, and Italian styles. These styles are all dramatically different and easy to spot. Lapels are of average size and shoulders are usually thicker than the other models. Wearing this suit will cover up most of the midsection and make a more pear shaped man look more muscular than just obese. This suit should be modified to a single vent in the back to make the jacket look less thick. American style suits are two buttoned models with a single vent in the back. These suits have flat front pants and lack cuffs at the bottom. Buy a model with a higher neckline if possible. This will close the gap that is left by only having one button and hide as much of the stomach as possible. Now that you know how to make any suit look good on you, your options have dramatically increased.
