The white fluffy stuff that comes just once a year during winter is something that you enjoy all the time in the State of Colorado. Located in the rocky mountain areas, only half of this state is flat. The rest are mountainous snow capped regions. This make Colorado the perfect place for all those winter sports that you love doing be it snowboarding or skiing.

Different areas in Colorado receive different amounts of snowfall but it averages at least a hundred; and even more for some areas. This plus about three hundred days of sunshine and the most skiable terrain provides for nothing but fun. Of course some of the most popular sports will include your classic downhill ski but you can all three types of cross country skiing.

Having the right terrain and snow does not mean all you have to do is ski. There are other things that you can to with all that snow. Snowboarding is a popular activity among younger ones, though many adults enjoy this sport as well. For those people who like dogs, there is something you can too: dog sledding. These are only some of the activities enjoyed; there can be more sports to do in the snow.

The fun does not stop where the snow ends in Colorado. You will that there are carnivals where you can party. Festivals and shows that you can visit and take part of; these will give you the perfect opportunity to shop for a souvenir that you can give your family and friends or keep so that you will have a memento of your trip. There will definitely be something that you will spark your interest in these fairs and shows.

If you have interests other than shopping, then you can be sure that you can always have a spot in these fairs and festivals in Colorado. You can always let your creativity flow and watch as others enjoy the things that you make by taking part in these craft fairs and shows. Not to mention that you can also make a handsome amount of money while you participate in such events.
