People really enjoy live events. I've always been a fan of baseball games. Even though it might seem awkward at first, you'll have a few hours to spend with your date in a very relaxed setting, along with the fact that you'll have something to talk about in the game.

I've always loved mini golf as an ice breaker too. You'll be enjoying a relaxed atmosphere with one another and having some fun in the process. This serves as a great, comfortable first date idea.

As you can see, I'm a fan of outdoor activities. If you have a daytime date planned, why not plan a small picnic in a park? If you prepare or pick up a meal and some drinks, your date will surely be happy with the effort you made.
