Mother's Day Ideas for the Absent Minded

When I was writing this post there's less than a month left until the Mother's Day and there's still time to get the gift. But I realize it's not gonna be long and many will find themselves not having gotten the present and the time inevitable coming. So below are some of the ideas for the last chance gift.

First and foremost you will always be able to get flowers, so you can do that. Additionally you can get some high quality chocolate. Or as an alternative you can get a fruit basket. It's a simple gift but a good one nevertheless.

But for it to be a really good gift we need some personal touch. And for this post I want to suggest the idea of a card made of old photos that have a meaning to you and your mother. It's similar to scrapbooking but takes a lot less time, which you don't have when we're talking about last chance gifts.

The best idea that comes to my mind to make such a card is to use a computer. If you have any graphic editing skills you can do that without much thinking with a program like Photoshop. Or you can seek for some e-card templates on the net. Then print it out and add it to you flowers or the basket.

The essential idea is to personalize it so it doesn't seem like the present made hastily. You evidently don't want your mother to know that you have forgotten the Mother's Day. And creating such a personal little present will undoubtedly do it. Specifically if you can choose a really touching picture.

It's an idea, but definitely you should always try to think outside the box. You won't make a mistake if you make it sincerely. Try to find that special thing that you feel is special to your mother and let her know.
