You've probably given a lot of thought to becoming a Web Marketer and making some good money from home. You like many things about the idea - you can work from home in your shorts and t-shirt, you can create a digital product and sell it over and over again, you can decide your own working hours and if you want to go play golf in the middle of the day, you can. You're also excited by the possibility of getting a better income than you do now.You can become a successful Web marketer and make a great income, but it's not an easy get-rich-quick scheme like some may have you believe. You need to do a lot of learning and put in a lot of hard work to achieve success time after time. There are three stages of Internet marketing that you will go through and they'll be explained here so you understand what's ahead for you in your big career change. Stage 1: Too much information can get in your wayYou start off by making the decision to become an Web marketer. For some, it's an easy decision and for others it's hard. Either way, you have to decide to go all the way with it - not just dabble. Sticking your toe in and running the other way the minute you notice the water is a little cold will not get you the results you really desire. You start reading sales pages and buying products to help you learn the market. They all promise great results if you'll only take the time to read and follow their instructions. You're excited because you see the potential. So what happens is you keep buying, keep trying the various business models being promoted, hop from one thing to the next and never give any of them more than 25% of your attention. Many marketers now have you on their lists and you spend many hours reading their emails and checking out their new offers. You think you might miss something if you stop reading. You have so much information coming in and you're so busy trying to learn it all that you don't really accomplish anything.Stage 2: Take focused action You remain in the first stage until you finally realize what's happening and that you're not really doing anything to make a real income yet. Many people will give up before they get this far. However, you decide that you need to unsubscribe from most of the lists you are on, choose a business model you're comfortable with, take a more focused approach to your learning (and don't spend so much time on it), and start focusing your action. You decide to fully commit to your chosen path and you work hard at it. Despite making some mistakes along the way you start be consistently successful. It's now fun, especially when your PayPal account has regular money coming in.Stage 3: Fine tune and make it hands off Now that your chosen business model is a success, you decide to automate it as far as you can. Your emails are being sent with an autoresponder, your customers are getting their content automatically delivered, and you have a great system in place. It's easy to duplicate what you have done because you are using tried and tested templates, action sheets, and you have shortcuts to make things faster. You are now working with a team you have built. You have writers for your articles, ebooks and blog posts. You have a website developer and graphic designer on hand. You have developed relationships with many web marketers and have an army of affiliates.Next you're starting a coaching program to help the new web marketers do what you've done. You remember what it was like to be in stage 1, don't you?
