Avid Articles Submission Guidelines
To keep standards high we have to have some some rules which are explained here.
Any article you submit must be your own work or material that you own the full rights to.
No rebranded articles are allowed and you must be the sole copyright holder for any article you
submit. It is perfectly acceptable for your articles to be written by a ghost writer but all rights
must be assigned to you as if you were the original author.
In submitting your material to Avid Articles you grant us the right to publish
your articles anywhere on our website or blog and we may syndicate through RSS. In
addition you agree that we may also change the place where your work appears including the
category at any time we see fit.
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an Internet technology used to distribute
frequently updated content which may include blog entries, podcasts and news headlines.
An RSS file or document, which is known as a "feed", "RSS feed", or "channel" will contain
either a summary of content from a related web site or at times the full text. RSS
makes it easy for people to keep up to speed with their favorite web sites in an automated
manner that's easier than checking for updates manually.
One of the benefits of submitting your work
to Avid Articles is that others may publish your material on their sites or in their
publications. For this reason you agree to grant others the right to publish your articles.
Other Avid Articles users have the right to publish your work wherever they may choose as
long as the article is reproduced in the original form and this must include the author's
resource box which acknowledges you as the author of the content.
You may not include affiliate links in articles
that you submit to Avid Articles. It is acceptable, however, to mention the URL's
of helpful sites or your own website which may redirect to the recommended affiliate product.
Please do not place links belonging to the author
in the body of the article. You may use the author's resource box for linking back to your site.
There is a limit of three links in the author's resource
box otherwise your article will not be approved. You do not have to supply any links
at all but it will usually be to your benefit if you do so.
You will not receive financial compensation of any kind for
your work. You submit your articles to Avid Articles on the basis that you do not
expect and you will not receive remuneration from Avid Articles or the users of our directory
for any articles that you submit.
Acceptance of any article is at our sole discretion
and our decision will be final. The act of submitting an article in no ways guarantees
inclusion in our directory. Any article that we initially approve may later be removed at our
discretion for any reason that we see fit.
Please spell check and proof read your content for
grammatical errors prior to submitting material to Avid Articles. We monitor article
submissions and we will not approve work that is deficient in this respect.
